Chuck Ulsch, Scott Gray, And Morgan Benfield Earn Championship Status In ADRL Lenmar Motorsports World Finals V

Stow, OH - The list of champions on Mickey Thompson tires at the 2009 LenMar Motorsports World Finals V was impressive. Topping the list was Chuck Ulsch in the Extreme 10.5 Class with a 3.94 elapsed time at 201.46 miles per hour on Mickey Thompson Pro-5 double bead lock wheels and 3169W. Ulsch beat Spiro Pappas who had a 3.92-second elapsed time at 193.27 miles per hour that earned Pappas a new elapsed time record, but a runner-up finish. Both Ulsch and Pappas are esteemed members of the Mickey Thompson Three-Second Club, and both were honored and officially inducted into the Three-Second Club over the weekend.

Next came champion Scott Gray in the Pro Extreme Motorcycle Class on Mickey Thompson #3055-S tires with a 4.21-second elapsed time at 170.67 miles per hour followed by Morgan Benfield who earned her first Junior Minuteman in the Pro Junior Dragster Class on Mickey Thompson #3621 tires. Gray swept his class over the weekend having also earned a champion belt in the annual ADRL Speedtech Battle for the Belts World Finals.
