ADRL's Jason Scruggs Becomes The First Racer to Lay Down a 3.8 Second 1/8 Mile Run in Pro Exteme Class !

Stow, OH - At the first ADRL event of the year Jason Scruggs became the first Pro Extreme driver to reach the 3.8-second zone in 1/8 mile competition, running a stunning 3.893 at 192.96 mph in Saturday's final qualifying session, pacing the large field of competitors by more than four-hundreds of a second. Although Scruggs did not back up the record in competition, he did run a 3.907 at 194.74 during testing Friday, proving that his outstanding pass was certainly not by accident! Frank Papp, Motorsports Manager for Mickey Thompson stated that We were extremely pleased to see Jason Scruggs in the #1 qualifying spot with a 3.893 at 196.96 and Quain Stott in the #5 spot with a 3.966 @ 185.82 when qualifying was over.
