Bruce Boland Wins Second Consecutive PMRA Championship On Mickey Thompson Tires

Stow, OH - Once again, Bruce Boland has emerged victorious from the annual PMRA Championships on Mickey Thompson Pro Drag Radials. Boland has been a member of the Pro Modified Racing Association since its inception. Boland’s strategy in 2008 was a simple, focused strategy that has been effective for him for a long time: be consistent, attend every race, and take care of the racecar.

“Our game plan was the same this year as it was last year,” said Boland. “Sure, I wanted a couple of wins, but you don’t go out there and try and kill yourself and your car trying to be number one all the time.”

Boland, who considers himself semi-retired following this event, had something to say about the Mickey Thompson tires that have helped him achieve such incredible success.
