Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels Announces Partnership With Bill Glidden Racing For The 2009 Season

Stow, OH - Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels is proud to announce their partnership with Billy Glidden Racing for 2009. Through this renewed partnership, Glidden will continue to help Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels develop new performance products, and Mickey Thompson will provide financial support to Glidden to defend his ADRL Extreme 10.5 Class Championship.

Billy Glidden started racing Pro Stock in 2007, and at NHRA National events with Mickey Thompson’s Tire Development Vehicle in association with their Big Tire Development Program in 2008. In mid-2008 Glidden dropped in a nitrous small block, and bolted on some new Mickey Thompson ET Drag tires, size 33.0/10.5-16W (#3169W). Glidden went on to win the 2008 ADRL Extreme 10.5 Class Championship. This was Glidden’s 13th Championship on Mickey Thompson tires!
