John Dibartolomeo Earns Super Comp Class Win At The NHRA Supernationals On Mickey Thompson Tires

Stow, OH - John DiBartolomeo, owner of DRC Race Products and Editor of Drag Racing Action magazine, scored his fourth NHRA national title with his win in the Super Comp class at the NHRA SuperNationals, June 11-14, 2009 in Englishtown, NJ.

This is DiBartolomeo’s first National event win in Super Comp, and fourth overall National event win with an 8.10-second elapsed time at 164.11 miles an hour. DiBartolomeo is a 30-year racing veteran, and is a native of New Jersey who got started in racing running the quarter-mile at Englishtown.

“Having been in the drag racing business a long time, there are a bunch of people we want to thank that have stood behind us for years,” said John DiBartolomeo. “That includes the folks at Mickey Thompson tires. The Super Comp class is probably one of the toughest in the NHRA Sportsman categories with racers from all over the country and wins measured in thousandths of a second.
