Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels rolled through the recent SEMA Show in style, earning awards and a bevy of new fans at the annual everything-automotive trade show in Las Vegas.

Located in the lower level of the South Hall, our desert-inspired booth was packed the entire week with customers and media wanting to learn more about the full lineup of Mickey Thompson and Dick Cepek products. That includes the new Baja Boss and Baja Pro X tire lines, which made big first impressions.

Perry Mack of 4WD Magazine in Canada selected the Baja Pro X as his Global Media Award winner for 2018, while Australians Simon Christie of 4wd TV and Ben Davidson of Jeep Action Magazine did the same for the Baja Boss. The Baja Pro X was also runner-up in the tire and related product category for the SEMA Best New Product Award.

SEMA is the place to see the finest project vehicles in the business, including plenty sporting Mickey Thompson and Dick Cepek tires and wheels. Highlights included the Code Red 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicon and Baja Boss aggressively styled Ford F-250 Super Crew off-roaders in the M/T booth, as well as high-profile OEM cars such as the all-electric Chevrolet eCOPO Camaro, 50th anniversary Mustang Cobra Jet and Leah Pritchett’s factory Mopar Pro Stock racer, all featuring M/T ET Drag radials.

The Mickey Thompson booth was a must-stop for show-goers. Team M/T gave away 3,000 T-shirts to attendees who watched a video presentation for the Baja Boss, invited customers to build a custom 4x4 vehicle with the M/T Interactive Garage kiosk, and hosted sponsored athletes Brian and Hailie Deegan, Jimmy Fitzpatrick and Destin Cantrell for a special autograph signing session on Tuesday.

“SEMA 2018 was a great show for Mickey Thompson,” said Ken Warner, Vice President of Marketing. “It’s always important to connect with our current and future customers, and even at such a huge event, our company definitely stood out.
